In this season’s Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Bayern Munich, and Barcelona will face each other in the group stage. Fifteen-time champions Real Madrid have been drawn into a tough group, where their competitors will include Manchester City and Liverpool.
PSG is considered to have relatively easier opponents, including England’s Newcastle United and Spain’s Athletic Bilbao. They will also have a rematch opportunity against Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur and aim to defeat Bayer Leverkusen, Atalanta, and Sporting Lisbon.
Real Madrid will also face significant challenges. They will play against Almaty, which is about 6,420 kilometers from the Spanish capital. Additionally, they will host Manchester City at home and play an away game against Liverpool. Their group also includes Juventus and two French clubs, Marseille and Monaco.
Bayern Munich will face Chelsea, a team that defeated them at home in the 2012 final, and will also have a rematch against PSG. Their group also includes Pafos from Cyprus.
Inter Milan, who lost two of the last three finals, will face Premier League top clubs Liverpool and Arsenal. Manchester City will travel to Norway to play against Bodø/Glimt and meet Kevin De Bruyne in action for Napoli.
