Nahid Islam's Pledge to Stop Border Killings at Any Cost.

 Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizens' Party (NCP), declared, "We will stop border killings at any cost." He made this remark on Friday (July 4) at noon, at the start of the 'July March' from the Old Bus Stand roundabout in Thakurgaon.

In his speech, Nahid Islam stated, "This is not Hasina's Bangladesh; this is the Bangladesh of students and the people. Bangladeshis are being indiscriminately shot and killed at the Thakurgaon border. Illegal push-ins are happening one after another." He emphasized, "We will stop border killings at any cost."

He further added, "Last July-August, resistance was built in Thakurgaon." Regarding the formation of a new country, he informed, "Programs are ongoing across the country. Through the July Declaration, reforms, justice, and a new constitution, we have sought elections."
