Meeting on Sunday to finalize Dhaka University undergraduate admission test dates

A meeting of the Deans Committee will be held on Sunday (October 12) to finalize the probable dates for the Dhaka University (DU) 2025-26 undergraduate admission tests. The following day, Monday (October 13), the issue will be finalized in the University’s General Admission Committee meeting.

Professor Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha, Vice-Chancellor (Administration), said that the Deans Committee meeting will include preliminary discussions regarding responsibilities for different units and the potential admission test dates. After that, the Admission Committee meeting will verify all matters and make a final decision.

According to preliminary plans, online applications may begin in November. The tentative schedule suggests:

IBA Unit: November 28

Fine Arts Unit: November 29

Business Studies Unit: December 6

Science Unit: December 13

Arts, Social Science, and Law Units: December 20

Decisions made in the Deans Committee meeting are generally considered the final dates by the Admission Committee, with very little possibility of change.
