The MBBS and BDS admission exams for the 2025–26 academic year were held simultaneously on Friday (December 12) from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at 17 centers and 49 venues across the country.
This year, the exam duration was increased by 15 minutes, making it a total of 1 hour 15 minutes. Each seat saw competition among more than 9 students.
According to the Ministry of Health’s instructions, candidates were required to arrive at the centers between 8:00 and 9:30 AM. Entry to the exam centers was closed after the designated time.
During the exams, students were seen entering the centers, with parents assisting their children outside.
There are a total of 13,051 seats in government and private medical and dental colleges: 5,100 in government medical colleges, 545 in government dental units, 6,001 in private medical colleges, and 1,405 in private dental colleges.
This year, a total of 122,632 candidates applied, including 49,028 boys and 73,604 girls. The competition for admission remained intense and exciting.
