Known terrorist arrested in Kafrul during joint forces operation

In a special operation by joint forces in Kafrul, several case defendants, including Md. Billal Hossain, were arrested. He is also known as Ali Hossain and Chamaira Babu, identified as a notorious local terrorist.

Kafrul OC Md. Sajjad Hossain said that based on secret information received Thursday night, the army and police conducted the operation. Early Friday, he was arrested in North Kafrul near Ice Cream Factory Lane.

During interrogation, Billal Hossain revealed the locations of illegal weapons he used in Kafrul. Based on this information, joint forces recovered two foreign pistols, ammunition, and other illegal items. A case was filed under the Arms Act, and Billal Hossain faces 12 other cases in Kafrul and one in Khilgaon for terrorist activities.
