Jamaat-e-Islami’s Secretary General, Professor Mia Golam Porwar, has said that some members of the administration and government advisers are secretly colluding with a certain party to bring them to power before the election. He made this comment on Saturday (October 11) at a student and youth rally held at Paikgacha Government College field in Khulna.

Professor Porwar stated, “If Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, we will reform the education system to ensure equal education for everyone. Additionally, we will implement a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and build a society free from discrimination.”

He urged voters to cast their votes for the scale symbol, saying, “To establish justice, we must bring the laws of the Qur’an to Parliament and build a society based on Qur’anic principles.”

Professor Porwar further added that after the revolution against fascism, now is the time to unite for good governance. He expressed hope that if Islamic parties remain united, other political parties will lose in the election.

Islami Chhatra Shibir Central Secretary Nurul Islam Saddam was present as a special guest at the rally, along with Jamaat-e-Islami’s Khulna district and local leaders.

He also confirmed that if Jamaat wins the election, its leaders will not accept government plots, vehicles, or other privileges, and the country’s economic development will be given top priority.
