Jamaat election rally in Chouddagram: Expectation for humane, corruption-free Bangladesh

At an election rally in Chouddagram, Comilla, Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqul Rahman stated that in a future Bangladesh, there would be no place for domination, fascism, or corruption. He emphasized that Jamaat seeks a Bangladesh where humanitarian values prevail and citizens can live safely and with dignity.

The rally, held at H.J. Government Pilot High School field, supported Jamaat’s 11-party alliance candidate Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher for Comilla-11. Rahman stated that the upcoming election represents the interests of those oppressed over the past decade and a half. He urged votes for all candidates of the 11-party alliance.

Rahman highlighted a commitment to eliminating corruption and extortion, while also allowing opportunities for ethical livelihood. Leaders from Jamaat and the alliance, including Nahid Islam of the National Civic Party and Mamunul Haque of the Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis, also spoke at the rally, criticizing political dynasties and advocating for a just and corruption-free governance system.

The rally drew a large turnout, and leaders urged voters to support candidates irrespective of political affiliation.
