At least 31 Israeli soldiers have been killed by friendly fire (mistakenly shot by their own forces) during the ongoing military operation in the Gaza Strip. This information was reported yesterday, Friday, by Israeli Army Radio, highlighting the severe consequences of internal errors within the Israeli forces.

The report states that a total of 440 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the "ground operation" began in Gaza in October 2023. Among these, 72 lives were lost due to operation-related accidents, accounting for approximately 16% of the total deaths. This statistic paints a grave picture of battlefield carelessness or lack of coordination.

A detailed analysis reveals that of the soldiers killed, 31 died from 'friendly fire,' 23 in ordnance-related accidents, 7 were run over by armored vehicles, and 6 died from unidentified gunfire incidents.

Israeli Army Radio further reported that since Israel resumed its military operation in Gaza on March 18, 32 Israeli soldiers have been killed there. Of these, only two died in 'operation-related accidents,' indicating a decrease in such fatalities compared to the earlier period.
