The High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court has issued a four-week rule regarding the implementation of the July Charter, the swearing-in of the Constitution Reform Assembly, questions about the referendum, and 30 reform proposals adopted by consensus. The move has drawn reactions in political circles.

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar expressed deep concern, stating that resolving political issues through courts has not historically yielded positive results and often creates confusion and deadlock. He alleged that the government is attempting to influence outcomes through judicial pressure, calling such actions hypocritical and self-destructive.

He urged dialogue and consensus for resolving political problems and requested the government refrain from taking actions that might conflict with public expectations and national unity. Parties involved have been given a specified time to respond to the rule.
