Four Killed in Truck-Autorickshaw Collision in Gobindaganj

Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and an autorickshaw in Gobindaganj, Gaibandha. The tragic accident occurred on Tuesday (August 12) around noon near Mousumir’s Fuel Pump on the Gobindaganj-Dinajpur highway.

Mojafar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gobindaganj Highway Police Station, said that upon receiving the news, the highway police quickly reached the scene and brought the situation under control. The identities of the deceased are not yet known. Although traffic was briefly disrupted following the accident, it has since returned to normal.

The police have stated that an investigation is underway to determine the cause and details of the collision. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the local hospital.
