DUSU Election 2025: Voter List Update Deadline Set for July 15

Dhaka University authorities have initiated the process of updating the voter list for the upcoming Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUSU) and Hall Union Elections-2025. As part of this process, strict directives have been issued for all students who have not yet completed their formal admission procedures to do so by July 15.

According to university administration sources, students who fail to complete their admission and update their ID cards within the stipulated deadline will not be included in the voter list for the upcoming DUSU elections. Consequently, they will lose the opportunity to cast their votes or run as candidates in the elections.

This directive was recently issued through a circular signed by Professor Dr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Chief Returning Officer for the DUSU and Hall Union elections and a professor in the Department of Botany. All university departments, institutes, halls, and relevant offices have already been notified in writing to take necessary actions regarding this matter.

University administration sources further indicate that this initiative has been undertaken to ensure a participatory and transparent election. The administration has set this deadline with the goal of ensuring active involvement from all students and maintaining an accurate voter list.

The administration has urged all concerned students to complete their admission procedures within the specified timeframe to ensure their inclusion in the voter list.
