A draft circular has been prepared for a new procedure to recruit teachers in private educational institutions. It has been sent to the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education for final approval.

On Thursday, February 5, a source from the Non-Government Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) confirmed this information to The Daily Campus, noting that a letter accompanied the draft.

The letter states that the procedure for recommending teachers for MPO-registered positions in private schools, updated on January 25, 2024, has been revised to align with the latest staffing structure, MPO policy, and private teacher registration, certification, and recommendation regulations of 2025.

The revised procedure will be published as a circular to ensure a coordinated and transparent process for teacher recruitment. The Ministry of Education and relevant authorities have been instructed to implement necessary actions based on the draft.

This initiative is expected to ensure that teacher recruitment in private schools and colleges is conducted in a more systematic and quality-assured manner.
