At least 50 Palestinians have been killed and at least 184 others injured in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours. Among the deceased, five were shot while waiting in line for food assistance. According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the ongoing conflict has so far claimed more than 66,000 lives, with over 168,000 people injured.

Israeli forces have continued airstrikes and drone attacks across various locations in Gaza City. In a drone strike at the Bureij refugee camp, one person was killed and at least four others were injured. In Nuseirat, several others, including women and children, were harmed when a tent housing displaced people was hit.

The humanitarian crisis has reached alarming levels. Gaza’s Ministry of Health warned that hospital blood supplies are nearly depleted. Essential equipment for blood storage and testing is running out, severely hampering life-saving medical operations.

Meanwhile, a glimmer of hope has emerged among Gaza residents following the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. However, many displaced people remain skeptical, citing repeated past failures to uphold ceasefire promises.

Gaza resident Fatima Al-Jammal said, “This war has been going on for two years. We just want to see our children smile again. Let schools reopen, let hospitals provide proper care—we just want some peace.”

Analysts note that Israel’s internal politics could significantly influence ceasefire discussions. Opposition leader Benny Gantz has already described Trump’s proposal as an “extraordinary opportunity,” but emphasized that compromises on prisoner releases and Israel’s security cannot be made.
