According to the university’s public relations office, a total of 10,351 students appeared for the written test for 1,305 seats across 13 departments under five faculties. Strict security and a well-organized environment were maintained throughout the campus during this highly competitive examination.
Admission sources said that exam answer scripts would be evaluated, and results are expected to be published on 7 February. After the results are announced, the admission process will proceed based on merit.
Earlier on the same morning, the ‘A’ group admission test for the same academic year was also held, with a large number of candidates participating. Qualified candidates’ lists for the exams had been published on BUET’s official website on 17 December, and only those listed could take the exams as scheduled.
