Body of Unknown Person Recovered from Naf River in Cox’s Bazar

The Naval Police recovered the body of an unidentified person from the Naf River in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar. The body was retrieved around 10:00 AM on Thursday from the Hnila Damdamiya BIW Ghat area in Teknaf.

Police Inspector Md. Atikul Haque, in charge of Teknaf Naval Police, stated that the deceased is approximately 35 years old. The body was wearing a long-sleeved vest and pants.

He further added that the identity of the deceased has not yet been determined. The body is being sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
