2 Dead, 2 Injured in Truck-CNG Collision on Hemayetpur-Singair Road

On Thursday morning, a head-on collision between a cargo truck and a CNG occurred on the Hemayetpur-Singair-Manikganj regional road in Manikganj, resulting in two deaths and two injuries. The accident took place around 7:00 AM near the head of Prashika Road, west of the Singair Bus Stand.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Mannan (23) and Monir Hossain (60). Among the injured are Mohsin (32) and Shahjahan Ali (60), who are currently receiving treatment at the Singair Upazila Health Complex.

Eyewitnesses reported that the truck was heading toward Manikganj when it collided with the CNG coming from the opposite direction. Two passengers in the CNG died on the spot, while locals rescued the injured and took them to the hospital.

OC of Singair Police Station, JOM Toufiq Azam, stated that the truck and CNG have been seized, and legal action is underway.
