Bodies of two ninth-grade boys recovered after going missing while fishing in Ukhiya sea

The bodies of two ninth-grade students, Habibul Abshar Habib (17) and Nazmul Hossain Sayem, who went missing while fishing at the Inani and Monkhali beaches in Ukhiya, have been recovered. Four other friends involved in the incident returned safely.

On Saturday afternoon, Habib’s floating body was recovered from Inani beach. Earlier, Sayem’s body was found around 2:30 a.m. on Friday at Monkhali beach.

Locals reported that six friends had gone fishing on Friday morning when Habib and Sayem were swept away by sudden waves. The Coast Guard will recover the bodies and hand them over to the families following legal procedures.
