Bloodied Body of Unidentified Youth Found in Narsingdi Banana Grove, Locals in Shock

DNN Crime Desk | Narsingdi: Police recovered the bloodied body of an unidentified young man from a banana grove in the Sadar Upazila of Narsingdi district early Sunday morning, triggering panic among local residents.

According to police, the victim is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old. Locals discovered the body under a tree while starting their morning work and immediately alerted authorities.

Eyewitnesses said the youth’s body bore multiple stab wounds, and blood was found pooled around him. It is suspected that he was brutally murdered by unidentified assailants during the night and left at the scene.

Narsingdi Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mizanur Rahman stated:

“There were clear drag marks and bloodstains near the body. While it appears to be a planned homicide, we cannot confirm anything until the investigation progresses.”

The body has been sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy. Police have launched an investigation to determine the victim’s identity and identify those involved in the killing. Preparations are underway to file a murder case.

This gruesome incident has sparked fear among residents, who are demanding the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of those responsible.

Narsingdi district police also confirmed that CCTV footage is being collected from nearby areas and suspected individuals are being questioned. Authorities assured that further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
