The trophy for the three-match Bangladesh-West Indies T20 series was unveiled at the historic Central Railway Building (CRB) grounds in Chattogram. On Sunday, 26 October, the event was held in front of the British-era architecture and the headquarters of the Eastern Railway at the CRB area, where both team captains, Liton Das and Shai Hope, officially unveiled the trophy.
Through this event, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) continues its tradition of unveiling series trophies at the country’s historic and visually significant locations. Previously, the ODI series trophy was unveiled at the historic Lalbagh Fort in Dhaka, and similar events were held in the tea gardens of Sylhet. This time, Chattogram’s century-old CRB was chosen as the venue.
After the trophy unveiling, captains Liton Das and Shai Hope participated in a photo session, posing with the trophy in front of an antique and visually striking railway engine at CRB.
The first T20 match of the series will commence on Monday, 27 October, at the Flight Lieutenant Bir Shreshtho Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram. The remaining two matches will take place on 29 and 31 October, with each match starting at 6:30 PM.
