Although the government declared three days of national mourning following the death of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, the recruitment exam for assistant teachers in government primary schools will take place as scheduled on January 2 (Friday). Preparation for the exam is ongoing, according to the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE).
S.M. Mahbub Alam, research officer at the DPE, said no final decision has been made to postpone the exam, so all procedures are continuing as planned. Any changes to the date or schedule will be communicated in advance.
Previously, rumors circulated on social media about postponing the exam, causing confusion among candidates. The DPE clarified that the exam will be held on January 2 as scheduled.
According to the official notice, the written exam for Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2025 will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM nationwide. Candidates must arrive at their exam centers by 9:00 AM. Entry cards can be downloaded from the designated website using a username/password or SSC roll, board, and passing year.
Candidates must bring a printed entry card and a valid national ID. Mobile phones, calculators, watches, electronic devices, books, notes, or any papers are strictly prohibited. Violators will be expelled, and legal action may be taken. Candidates are also urged to avoid any form of cheating.
Recently, an exam for the ‘Account Assistant’ post was postponed due to a question leak, but the authorities confirmed that the Assistant Teacher Exam is unrelated to that incident.
