Al Ain Thrashed 6-0 by Manchester City in Club World Cup

2024 AFC Champions League winners Al Ain faced a harsh reality in the FIFA Club World Cup. After suffering a heavy defeat against former European champions Juventus, the Asian side was once again humiliated—this time by Manchester City.

In today’s (Monday) Group G match, former UEFA Champions League winners Manchester City crushed Al Ain with a massive 6-0 victory. Earlier, the club from the United Arab Emirates had lost 5-0 to Italian giants Juventus.

With this dominant win, English club Manchester City have secured their place in the Round of 16 of the tournament. Juventus also booked their spot in the knockout stage after winning their other group match. Following these results, Al Ain’s hopes of progressing in the Club World Cup have all but vanished.
