Ahmed Hasan and Nusrat Mati Host Post-Wedding Reception with Friends and Well-wishers

The post-wedding reception in Dhaka was attended by friends, acquaintances, and colleagues from the entertainment industry, offering congratulations to the couple. Actress Azmeri Haque Badhon also attended, posting on social media: “Congratulations to both. It’s heartening to see people I truly respect together. Wishing you love and happiness on this new journey.” Other attendees included Imtiaz Barshan, Zahid Nirab, and others.

Despite the celebration, Ahmed Hasan is busy promoting his upcoming film Political Conversations Required Here, releasing on 16 January. Completing the ceremony in advance has given him relief amid the pre-release promotions of teasers, trailers, and songs.

Speaking about their married life, Ahmed Hasan said their friendship of nearly three years gradually transformed into love and then marriage. He added that Nusrat’s intelligence and knowledge in arts, literature, and film attracted him the most.

Nusrat Mati studied filmmaking in Europe and currently teaches film and writes screenplays at a private university. The post-wedding reception, attended by friends and well-wishers, created a memorable evening for the couple.
