Actor Siddiquar Remanded for Three Days in Parvez Bapari Murder Case

Actor Siddiquar Rahman has been placed under three days’ remand by the police for questioning in connection with the Parvez Bapari murder case filed at Gulshan Police Station in Dhaka. The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court in Dhaka granted this permission on Wednesday.

The police had requested a 10-day remand, but after hearing, the court approved a three-day remand. Prior to this case, a video of Siddiquar being assaulted circulated on social media, showing him being dragged, his clothes torn, and being handed over to the police. Following that, he was shown as arrested in connection with the attempted murder case of Jabbar Ali Howlader.
