Actress Vanija Sattar has expressed frustration after rumours linking her romantically with former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik resurfaced. Following renewed discussion of the matter on social media, she shared a viral video and expressed her disappointment over the recurring speculation.

Sharing the video, Vanija wrote, “Oh my God! Again!” Her brief reaction made her irritation with the old rumours apparent.

The actress, known for her role in the television drama Kuch Ankahi, has also criticised the tendency to circulate unverified information about celebrities’ private lives on social media. According to her, in the race to increase views and gain popularity online, many people publish sensational stories about well-known personalities, while numerous important issues are left out of public discussion.

This is not the first time rumours have linked Vanija Sattar’s name with Shoaib Malik. She had previously addressed the matter during a television programme. At the time, she said she had never even met Shoaib Malik in person. She also questioned how rumours about a relationship between them had started in the first place.

According to Vanija, she initially assumed the speculation was merely a joke, but it eventually became a source of discomfort. She had also said that the rumours affected her personal life. Friends and relatives contacted members of her family to find out whether the claims were true.

Vanija Sattar has urged people to verify information before publishing or sharing it on social media. She has also called for greater respect for celebrities’ private lives.

In her view, the practice of spreading baseless information to attract online attention or gain popularity needs to stop. She stressed that the reliability of information must be established before publishing reports about alleged relationships involving well-known personalities.
