US AI Startups Set New Investment Records in 2025

The US artificial intelligence industry has reached new heights in investment in 2025. According to TechCrunch, this year has already matched 2024 in terms of startups raising $100 million or more. Several companies have raised multiple “mega-rounds” of funding, strengthening investor confidence in the sector.

Enisphere created the viral vibe-coding platform Cursor, raising $2.3 billion on 13 November, marking its second round this year, with a valuation of $31.3 billion.

Anthropic AI Research Lab was valued at $138 billion in its Series F round in September, after raising $3.5 billion in Series E in March.

Reflection AI, an automated AI system developer, received $2 billion in Series B in October, at an $8 billion valuation.

Cognition AI, developing the vibe-coding agent Devin, raised $400 million in Series C in September, at a valuation of $10.2 billion.

Significant investments were also made in healthcare. Hippocratic AI raised $141 million in January and $166 million in November. eBridge, a patient-doctor conversation transcription platform, raised $250 million in February and $300 million in June.

Top venture capital firms including Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Capital, Index Ventures, and tech giants such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, and SoftBank invested in these startups.

Investment in innovative AI fields such as generative media, AI infrastructure, and legal and healthcare applications is likely to reshape the technology sector in the coming years. 2025 is indeed a revolutionary year for the US AI industry.
