Unchanged Bangladesh squad for New Zealand series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the first two ODIs against New Zealand, keeping the squad unchanged from the Pakistan series.

Chief selector Habibul Bashar said the decision was made to maintain continuity in performance.

Bangladesh played the same XI throughout the Pakistan series, which was considered satisfactory, so selectors did not feel the need for changes.

Players such as Shariful Islam, Mahidul Islam Ankon, Tanvir Islam, and Soumya Sarkar will remain on standby.

Bangladesh will host New Zealand from April 13. The first two ODIs will be played on April 17 and 20 at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. The third ODI will be held in Chattogram on April 23.

After the ODI series, both teams will play a T20 series in Chattogram and Mirpur.
