Bangladesh’s popular singer, songwriter, and actor Tahsan Khan surprised fans at a concert in Melbourne, Australia, by announcing that he will gradually step back from performing. He said that while this is not his final concert, it could be his last tour. The decision comes as he prioritizes his personal life and the upbringing of his daughter.

Prior to this announcement, Tahsan’s Facebook and Instagram accounts were suddenly deactivated. Though he did not give a detailed explanation directly to fans, he briefly stated that he made the decision “in hope of living a normal life.”

Over his 25-year music career, Tahsan has captivated audiences in Bangladesh, especially gaining popularity among the younger generation with his work in the band “Black” and in Bangla rock music. Fans at the Melbourne concert were visibly shocked and seen wiping away tears upon hearing the announcement.

Tahsan’s decision has sparked widespread discussion on social media. Many have expressed their sorrow and hope for his return after a short break, but Tahsan has made it clear that he currently has no plans to return to music.
