Symbolic Tribute to Shaheed Abu Sayed, Praised by Chhatra Dal Convenor Atik

Shaheed Abu Sayed was symbolically remembered during a discussion session titled “Video Screening of the Struggle Spirit of the July Movement and Honoring the Martyr Families” held at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). The event was organized by the National Day Celebration Committee and took place at the university's auditorium.

The Chief Guest at the event was the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. A.K. Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan, while the session was chaired by the Student Affairs Advisor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Haque. The event was attended by students, faculty, members of martyr families, and administrative officials.

In his address, the Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A.K. Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan, expressed condolences to the martyr families and stated, "As long as Bangladesh exists, the names of all martyrs, including Shaheed Abu Sayed, will be written in golden letters."

Speaking at the event, Chhatra Dal Convenor Md. Atikur Rahman remembered the sacrifices made by Shaheed Abu Sayed, stating,

“The July Movement was not just a student movement — it was the ultimate expression of the public's resistance against autocracy. Let the blood of Shaheed Abu Sayed stand as a symbol of strength in our every demand and struggle.”

Atik symbolically stood to show his deep respect for the martyr's sacrifice, creating an emotional atmosphere among all those present. His innovative gesture has been widely praised on social media and among students.

The event also included the honoring of martyr families, and various speakers highlighted the context of the movement, reflecting on its significance.
