Shraddha Kapoor Mentally Collapsed Due to Brother’s Arrest and Political Protests

Speaking in an interview in Kolhapur, Tejaswini said, “On the day of the incident, there was a political party protest outside the house. Inside, both Shraddha and Siddhant broke down in tears. The entire situation became a terrifying mental experience for our family and has impacted us for a long time.”

Tejaswini further explained that at that time, Siddhant Kapoor was detained at a high-end hotel in Bengaluru during a rave party. He was accused of consuming drugs there. However, the family claims he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Someone at the party offered him a drink, which led to complications. He was later released on bail through legal procedures.

In the interview, Tejaswini also expressed dissatisfaction with the media’s role. She said, “The issue was sensationalized in the media, which affected Siddhant’s personal and professional life. As an internationally working DJ, his reputation and work opportunities were also limited.”

Due to political protests and sudden slogans outside the house, both Shraddha and Siddhant were mentally affected. Additionally, Siddhant had to appear before the Mumbai police for an investigation into a major drug racket, although the family insists he had no direct involvement.

Tejaswini reminisced about Shraddha’s childhood, saying her nickname was ‘Lolly’ and that she was always treated with special affection in the family. Shraddha’s father, Shakti Kapoor, never hindered her acting career but rather supported her independent thinking.
