Shah Rukh Khan’s Determined Effort and Connection with Former Attorney Behind Aryan Khan’s Bail

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan faced one of the toughest chapters of his life in October 2021, when his son Aryan Khan was arrested in the ‘Drugs-on-Cruise’ case on Mumbai’s seafront. After three weeks in jail, Aryan was released on bail.

It has recently emerged that Shah Rukh not only called former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi to convince him to take on the case but also appealed to Rohatgi’s wife. He even offered the use of a private jet so that the lawyer could reach Mumbai quickly.

Rohatgi stated that he was on vacation in the UK at the time. Shah Rukh called him, saying, “This is not just a client’s case, I am a father.” Hearing this emotional plea, Rohatgi’s wife persuaded him to take the case.

Shah Rukh was directly involved in preparing for the case. He personally wrote notes and contributed to drafting key points. After discussions and arguments in the High Court, Aryan was granted bail.

In October 2021, the NCB raided the Cordelia Cruise ship, detaining Aryan and several others. He was later completely acquitted in the case.

Currently, Aryan Khan has debuted as a director. His web series “The Badshahs of Bollywood” was recently released on Netflix, marking his progress as a filmmaker, leaving the drug controversy behind.
