Shabnam Faria Marries Tanzim Tayyeb in a Private Ceremony at a Dhaka Mosque

Popular actress Shabnam Faria announced her marriage on Friday. She and Tanzim Tayyeb were married in a private ceremony at a mosque on Madani Avenue in Dhaka, with only close family members and friends in attendance.

Shabnam Faria said, “My feelings about marriage have always been complicated—no less than anxiety. After going through various personal experiences, I thought this chapter might never come. But with the passage of time and an unexpected decision by my family, this union took place.”

She added that due to the sudden decision, her only sister-in-law could not attend the ceremony. However, she plans to organize a post-wedding reception in the future with colleagues, relatives, and close friends.

Tanzim Tayyeb is from Rajshahi and completed his postgraduate studies at the University of South Wales, Australia. He currently works as an Assistant Vice President at a private bank in Bangladesh.

Shabnam Faria began her career as a model and later gained recognition as a talented actress in dramas and films. She was previously married to Harunur Rashid Apu in 2018, but the marriage ended formally after 1 year and 9 months.
