Dhallywood actor Abdun Noor Sajal recently revisited his childhood memories. Watching the popular TV series “MacGyver” three decades ago remains vivid in his mind. Now, he has provided the Bengali voice for the character, taking him back to those childhood days.

Sajal said he auditioned twice for the role and did not want to miss the opportunity. “Watching this character as a child, I used to play pranks at home. Dubbing for it now brings back those memories,” he shared.

He recalled, “We had a strict yet caring teacher for three siblings. Watching MacGyver, we decided to play a prank. We placed a key on the ceiling fan; when the switch was turned on, the fan would spin and the key would fall. Eventually, the key fell on the table, and we got scolded.”

Currently, Sajal is focusing on films and dubbing rather than drama. He recently finished shooting the movie Shapla Shaluk with co-star Shabnam Bubli, directed by Rasheda Akter. He plans to start shooting songs for a new movie soon.

He added, “Audiences are now very experienced, so maintaining quality requires more time. We discuss characters and costumes repeatedly to bring something new to the viewers.”

Regarding dubbing, Sajal said he enjoys it after finishing film shoots. He is currently dubbing for Bangla Vision’s Abdul Hamid series. He finds juggling dubbing and acting challenging but rewarding, as it combines childhood memories with his current career.
