Turkish mega series ‘Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi’ coming in Bengali

The widely discussed Turkish historical mega series “Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi” will now be available in Bengali for viewers in Bangladesh. The Bengali-dubbed version will be broadcast from August 2 through a joint initiative of Nagorik TV and the OTT platform Bongo.

The announcement was made on Tuesday at a press conference held at Hotel Intercontinental Dhaka.

According to organizers, from August 2 the series will air from Sunday to Thursday at 8:00 PM on Nagorik TV and at 9:00 PM on the Bongo platform.

The original Turkish series “Kudus Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi” depicts the life, leadership, and Jerusalem conquest campaign of legendary Muslim commander Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi. It highlights political diplomacy, military strategy, justice, and leadership qualities of the historic figure.

The production features large sets, modern cinematography, realistic battle scenes, and international-standard filmmaking, earning praise from global audiences.

Bongo Head of Content Mohammad Ali Haider said they are delighted to bring this historical story in Bengali, expecting strong audience response.

Nagorik TV Managing Director Navidul Haque said this initiative will enhance viewers’ experience by bringing international-quality content.

Program Head Kamruzzaman added that the series is not just entertainment but a powerful historical drama that allows viewers to connect with historical events and characters.

Organizers expect the Bengali version to gain popularity among both history enthusiasts and general audiences, adding a new dimension to Bangladesh’s entertainment industry.
