Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Koratobyo’ releasing on Netflix on May 15

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan is once again coming before the audience with a new crime thriller. His new film Koratobyo is set to release this month on the popular streaming platform Netflix. The recently released trailer shows a gripping story filled with mystery, political pressure, corruption, and personal crises.

The film is produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. It is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan and directed by Pulkit.

At the trailer launch event held in Mumbai, Saif Ali Khan, Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, and Manish Chaudhary were present. During the event, Saif also spoke about his long-standing relationship with Shah Rukh Khan.

He said Shah Rukh Khan personally encouraged him to hear the story of the film. After listening to the script, he developed interest in the project. Saif added that his professional relationship with Shah Rukh is also supported by a long personal friendship.

In the film, Saif plays the role of a police officer named ‘Pawan Malik’. The story begins with an incident where a journalist under his protection is shot, leading to a complex investigation. Gradually, layers of corruption, abuse of power, and betrayal are revealed. The story progresses through the conflict between professional duty and family safety.

The makers said the film is not only an investigation-based thriller but also portrays a person’s moral crisis and personal struggle.

Koratobyo will release on Netflix on May 15. Saif Ali Khan is also busy with new projects for theatrical release. Soon he will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar in a new film directed by Priyadarshan
