Rumors of Romance Between Srijit Mukherji and Sushmita Chatterjee

Rumors about a romantic relationship between West Bengal filmmaker Srijit Mukherji and actress Sushmita Chatterjee have been circulating for some time. During the Sharadiya Durga Puja festival, Srijit posted several pictures with Sushmita on Instagram, fueling the speculation further. Earlier, they were seen together at the premiere of the film “Dear Maa.”

When actress Rafiat Rashid Mithila was asked about this on Masranga Television’s “Behind the Fame with RRK” show, she responded, “Those who are saying it, are saying it. I won’t comment.” Mithila confirmed that Srijit is still her husband and his name remains on her passport.

Mithila married Srijit in December 2019 and later settled in Kolkata with their daughter Ira. However, for the past two years, Mithila and her daughter have been staying in Dhaka. She stated that she has not been to Kolkata since July 2024 due to visa issues.

In August this year, Mithila earned a PhD in Early Childhood Education from the University of Geneva. Srijit also congratulated her on this achievement, sharing her post with the caption: “Unbelievable success, congratulations!”
