Rizwan’s Weak Start in CPL; St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots Beat Barbados

Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan had a disappointing debut in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). On Friday (August 22), playing for the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, he faced only 6 balls, scoring 3 runs before being bowled out.

Rizwan came in to bat at number three. His team batted first and scored 174 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. In reply, the Barbados Royals were all out for 162 runs in 18.2 overs. The main contributor to the Patriots’ victory was captain Jason Holder, who scored 38 runs off 21 balls and took 4 wickets in 3.2 overs.
