Rangpur in the final: Defeats Chattogram by 4 wickets to make history

Rangpur division has advanced to the final of the NCL T20 Tournament. On Friday (10 October), at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Rangpur defeated Chattogram division by 4 wickets in the second qualifier. They will face Khulna division in the final on 12 October.

Chattogram batted first and scored 167 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Batsman Sadikur Rahman scored 58 runs, while captain Yasir Ali played an unbeaten innings of 53 runs. Enamul and Alaudin Babu took one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 168 runs, Rangpur won the match in 20 overs losing 6 wickets. Nasir Hossain scored 54 runs, and captain Akbar Ali played a cameo of 40 runs. Rangpur sealed the victory with a boundary on the last ball. Hassan Murad and Mominul from Chattogram took 2 wickets each. Nasir Hossain was named the Player of the Match.
