Rajshahi University Postpones Admission and Class Start Dates Again

The subject choice, admission, and class start dates for first-year undergraduate (honors) students of the 2024-25 academic year at Rajshahi University (RU) have been postponed once more.

The decision was made during a meeting of the university's admission sub-committee on Thursday (July 24) at 11:30 AM. The university's ICT Center Director, Professor Md. Shaiful Islam, confirmed the update.

He stated, "The deadlines for subject choice, admission, and class commencement for the first-year undergraduate (honors) admission process for the 2024-25 academic year have been rescheduled."

According to the new schedule, the admission process will continue until August 7, and classes will begin on August 17.

Previously, the class start date was set for July 1 in the first phase, then postponed to August 3. The latest decision pushes the date further to August 17.

The university administration also announced that the final admission schedule and related instructions will be published on the university's official website.
