Old Dhaka Businessman Lal Chand Murder: Another Accused Arrested from Narayanganj

Another accused has been arrested from Narayanganj in connection with the brutal murder of businessman Lal Chand alias Sohag (39) in front of Mitford Hospital in Old Dhaka. RAB arrested the accused, Nannu Kazi (27), from the Sonakanda area of Bandar Upazila, Narayanganj, late last Monday (July 14). He is the 7th accused named in the case's First Information Report (FIR).

With this, a total of eight people have been arrested in connection with the Lal Chand murder.

RAB-11 Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel H. M. Sajjad Hossain confirmed Nannu Kazi's arrest. According to RAB-11 sources, he was arrested around 11:00 PM yesterday from Baliya village in Kalagachhia Union of Bandar Police Station and later handed over to RAB-10.

Last Wednesday afternoon, a video of the brutal murder of businessman Lal Chand on the road in front of Gate No. 3 of Mitford Hospital went viral on social media, causing widespread commotion.
