No preliminary recommendations this time for recruitment of more than 67,000 private teachers

There will be no preliminary recommendation process this time for the recruitment of more than 67,000 teachers in private educational institutions. Instead, the final recruitment recommendations will be made directly by the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA).

NTRCA Chairman Md. Aminul Islam disclosed this information on Thursday while speaking to The Daily Campus at the Secretariat. He said, “The preliminary recommendation has been cancelled in this year’s recruitment process. The final responsibility for recruitment will now rest with NTRCA. This will make the recruitment process more transparent and effective.”

More than 67,000 teaching posts are vacant in this recruitment cycle. NTRCA officials said that greater emphasis will be placed on candidates’ skills and qualifications compared to previous years.

Those concerned hope that this revised recruitment method will play a significant role in ensuring transparency and quality teachers in the education sector.
