Tensions between Iran and the United States in the Middle East have escalated further, with Lebanon becoming a central point of concern in the evolving crisis, according to international analysts.
Recent developments show that missile exchanges between Iran and Israel have escalated into wider retaliatory attacks, raising uncertainty over an informal ceasefire agreement reached two months earlier.
Experts say the ongoing situation involving Hezbollah in Lebanon has become a major focal point. Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon have further intensified the crisis.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said the only solution to end the conflict is dialogue and called on foreign powers not to interfere in Lebanon’s internal affairs.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated that Lebanon should not be used as a “bargaining tool” and emphasized the need to stop Israeli aggression.
Hezbollah-linked sources say the crisis should be resolved through mediated dialogue rather than direct negotiations, although differences in positions remain clear.
Analysts warn that continued escalation in southern Lebanon and cross-border military activity could lead to a wider regional conflict, increasing global security risks.
