A recent survey shows widespread dissatisfaction in Israel regarding the ceasefire between the United States and Iran. Most Israelis oppose the ceasefire and believe war may resume soon.
According to a survey by the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), about 61% oppose the ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump.
Additionally, 73% believe war with Iran could resume within a year, while 69% support continued military operations in Lebanon.
Analysts say Israel’s leadership has long portrayed Iran as a major threat, influencing public opinion.
Despite the war, Iran has maintained its state structure and military capacity.
Political reactions in Israel are divided. Opposition leader Yair Lapid said the situation weakens Israel diplomatically, while Yair Golan criticized Netanyahu’s strategy.
Experts warn that despite the ceasefire, tensions remain high, and the Middle East could become unstable again.
