Midnight Shooting at Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai Home, Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility

Police reports indicate that between 12:40 AM and 1:00 AM on Saturday, four to five rounds were fired outside Shetty’s Juhu residence. One bullet hit the gym window of the house. No one was injured, but panic spread throughout the area. Police and forensic teams quickly arrived and strengthened security.

A social media account under the name ‘Shubham Lonkar’ claimed responsibility, stating: “Today we claim responsibility for firing at Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai residence. This was only a warning; next time, the bullets won’t stay outside the house but hit the bedroom.” The post also warned other Bollywood stars.

Police said investigations are ongoing to identify the perpetrators and verify the authenticity of social media threats. On Sunday, five people were arrested in Pune’s Dhayari and Karvenagar areas in connection with the incident.

The arrested individuals are: Aman Anand Marote (27), Aditya Gyaneshwar Gayki (19), Siddharth Deepak Jenpura (20), Samarth Shivsharan Pomaji (18), and Swapnil Sokat (23). Police are investigating their direct links to the Mumbai incident.

Previously, the gang had threatened Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and claimed responsibility for the public murder of a father named Siddique in October 2024. They have also been accused of targeting actress Disha Patani, YouTuber Elvish Yadav, and several other Indian celebrities abroad.

Investigations into the recent shooting at Rohit Shetty’s house are ongoing. Police are examining all possible angles to determine the motive and network behind the attack. Shetty has not yet commented on the incident.
