The Gaza Civil Defense Agency reported that Israeli airstrikes on Friday killed at least 14 people in the northern and southern parts of Gaza. The information comes from the news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP).

According to the agency, multiple airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire occurred early Friday morning in the northern areas of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza.

Mohammad Al-Mughayyir, an official from the agency, stated that 10 people were killed in two separate attacks in Khan Yunis — one targeting a residential building and the other a tent shelter for homeless people.

Additionally, another airstrike in the Al-Najla area of northern Gaza’s Jabalia reportedly killed 4 more people, he said.

Due to restrictions on media movement in Gaza and difficulties accessing many areas, AFP was unable to independently verify the casualty numbers and other details.

The Israeli military did not immediately respond to requests for comment. However, when AFP contacted them, they requested precise locations to verify the information.
