Once a familiar face in Bollywood’s glamorous world, Celina Jaitly has often been in the spotlight due to her acting career, beauty pageants, and personal life. However, her name has now surfaced in a case involving domestic violence and marital conflict.
According to Mumbai Police sources, a case has been filed against the actress’s husband Peter Haag on allegations of domestic violence. Based on the complaint, an investigation has begun under several sections of Indian law. A look-out notice has also been issued against him to prevent him from leaving the country during the investigation.
The complaint alleges that the actress has been subjected to mental and physical abuse over a long period of time. The investigation also includes allegations of intimidation and harassment. However, no official statement has yet been issued by Peter Haag or his legal representatives.
Following the incident, Celina sparked renewed discussion by posting on social media. On her Instagram story, she shared an image of a book about “breaking up with a narcissist.” Parts of the content highlighted themes of reclaiming identity, mental healing, and rewriting one’s own story.
After this post, many believe she indirectly hinted at her marital crisis.
A few days earlier, she had also shared an emotional video standing in front of the grave of her late child Shamsher Haag. In the video, she hinted that she is currently unable to maintain normal contact with her children. The video went viral and generated widespread sympathy among followers.
Celina married Peter Haag in 2011. After marriage, she gradually moved away from acting and later settled abroad with her family. They have four children, but one of their twin sons born in 2017, Shamsher, died shortly after birth due to heart disease. This incident had a deep emotional impact on her life, as she has mentioned in various interviews.
It is known that legal steps regarding marital disputes began in 2025. At that time, she also posted on social media expressing her determination to fight for her dignity and her children.
Celina Jaitly came into the spotlight in 2001 after success in beauty pageants. She later gained recognition in Bollywood through films such as “No Entry,” “Golmaal Returns,” and “Apna Sapna Money Money.” However, at present, her personal life crisis has become the center of discussion.
