PNN Benapole Correspondent: Maryam Khatun, a student leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) at Benapole Degree College and an active participant of July student-led uprising in Dhaka, has passed away.

She was critically injured in a road accident and was undergoing treatment in the ICU of Jessore 250-Bed General Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Her untimely death has cast a shadow of grief over the Benapole Municipal Unit of Chhatra Dal, which expressed deep sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to her family and comrades. The organization stated that Maryam’s courageous role and activism will be remembered in the history of student politics.
