One of the world’s most influential music stars, Beyoncé, has now entered the billionaire list. According to the latest Forbes report, she became the fifth musician to reach the milestone of one billion dollars in net worth. Previously, her husband Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna held places on this list.
Beyoncé’s career has seen remarkable success in recent years. Her 'Renaissance World Tour' in 2023 created a massive global impact, earning nearly $600 million. Following this, her 2024 country genre album ‘Cowboy Carter’ elevated her career to new heights. The tour beginning in 2025 has become one of the highest-grossing concert tours in the world.
In 2008, Beyoncé founded her entertainment company, Parkwood Entertainment, which manages and produces her music, concerts, documentaries, and other creative projects. Forbes notes that most production costs are borne by Parkwood itself, allowing the company to retain a large share of the profits, benefiting Beyoncé financially more than many other artists.
Revenue from the ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour’s ticket sales alone exceeded $400 million, with merchandise sales adding approximately another $50 million. As the production of the tour was entirely handled by Parkwood, most of this revenue directly contributed to Beyoncé’s wealth.
Beyoncé’s income sources are not limited to music. Forbes reports that she earned approximately $60 million from the 2019 documentary ‘Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé’ via Netflix. In addition, she earned around $50 million performing at the Christmas Day NFL halftime show broadcast on Netflix in 2024. Concert films made from the ‘Renaissance World Tour’ have also generated significant revenue globally, much of which went directly to Beyoncé.
According to Forbes, in 2025, including concert tours, music catalogs, and various brand deals, Beyoncé earned approximately $148 million before taxes. This made her the third-highest-paid musician in the world that year.
With creativity, business foresight, and strategic investments, Beyoncé has now become not just a star but also one of the world’s influential wealthy figures, marking a significant chapter in music history.
