At least 7 killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City

At least seven Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in two separate Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City, according to medical sources.

In the Rimal area, four missiles struck a residential building, killing four people including women and children. In a separate attack on a civilian vehicle, three more people were killed.

At least 45 people were injured, many in critical condition. Hundreds of residents lived in the targeted building.

Israel claimed the strikes targeted a senior Hamas commander involved in the October 7 attacks, but his death has not been confirmed.

Humanitarian agencies warn that the ongoing conflict is worsening Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, with thousands killed since October 2023.
