At least 18 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since dawn. Among them, 14 were killed in Gaza City, according to medical sources cited by Al Jazeera.

Meanwhile, a conference of world leaders has been convened under the initiative of France and Saudi Arabia, where several countries may formally announce recognition of the Palestinian state. Such a move could trigger strong reactions from Israel and the United States, raising international concern.

UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has clearly stated that in response to the recognition of a Palestinian state, Israel must refrain from expanding its occupation in the West Bank. She said, “This decision is the best way to ensure the security of both Israel and Palestine.”

Doctors working at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City are carrying out their duties at great personal risk. Australian anesthesiologist Dr. Saya Aziz reported that despite multiple explosions near the hospital every day, many medical personnel walk several hours to reach the hospital. She said, “Every life is equally important to them.”

Although there is extensive diplomatic discussion on the ongoing situation, attacks on the ground in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis are intensifying.
