In a pre-World Cup friendly, the Argentina national football team delivered an impressive performance, defeating Zambia 5-0, boosting confidence ahead of the tournament.

Playing at home, Argentina adopted an attacking strategy from the start. Captain Lionel Messi started in the lineup, helping restore team rhythm. The hosts scored two goals in the first half, initiated by Julián Álvarez. Messi added a second goal to extend the lead.
